Dr. Linda Cowels is the founder of Anointed Community Services International which was created in 2010.  After 11 years of existence, Anointed partnered with the City of Groveland and provided thriving programs at the Elese Tomlin Community Center and ended up acquiring a $6.2 million grant.  Due to this partnership with the City of Groveland $2.2 M of that grant was awarded to build the new Elese Tomlin Empowerment Center, which is home for Anointed.  The Center has a business incubator, a training room, game room, computer lab and a community library for the children and residents of Groveland to enjoy. Dr. Linda has a doctorate in Christian Theology, and is the founder of other nonprofit organizations in the U.S. and abroad.  She has an associate in marketing and business administration and an associate in paralegal studies. She is a bonded and insured Notary Public in the State of Florida. Dr. Linda worked at Seminole State College for 31 years with her last 15 years serving as the Executive Assistant to the President and the District Board of Trustees.  

As CEO and Founder of Anointed Community Services International, Dr. Linda and her team manage the Elese Tomlin Empowerment Center for the City of Groveland and serves 10,000+ residents yearly.  She also serves as the Vice-Chair of the Recreation Advisory Committee for the City of Groveland, and is the Dean of the River Bible Institute in Clermont, FL.  She is a SCORE mentor, a licensed and ordained Pastor, Community Advocate, Apostolic Woman, Missionary, Author and Radio Personality with Brother Zee and Friends which is aired on WPIO 89.3FM every Saturday morning at 10AM.
