Dr. Linda D. Cowels is an accomplished executive leader, nonprofit CEO, grant strategist, business coach, and community development specialist with more than 30 years of experience leading organizations that create lasting community impact. She is the Founder and President/CEO of Anointed Community Services International (ACSI), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth, families, seniors, veterans, and underserved communities through education, workforce development, leadership training, and community outreach.

A recognized expert in grant writing and organizational development, Dr. Cowels has successfully secured 19 grants totaling more than $2.25 million, including a transformational $2.2 million grant from the Livewell Foundation, helping launch sustainable programs that strengthen communities and improve lives. Her expertise spans strategic planning, nonprofit governance, program development, fundraising, and building collaborative partnerships with government agencies, foundations, educational institutions, and community leaders.

In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Dr. Cowels serves as Dean of River Bible Institute, where she provides academic leadership, develops curriculum, and mentors future ministry leaders. She is also the founder of Business Initiatives & Consultants, where she coaches entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and emerging leaders in business formation, grant readiness, organizational sustainability, and leadership development.

Before launching her nonprofit career, Dr. Cowels dedicated more than three decades to Seminole State College of Florida, serving in multiple leadership and administrative roles, including Executive Assistant to the President and Board of Trustees. During her tenure, she implemented innovative administrative systems, improved institutional processes, and contributed to employee development initiatives that enhanced organizational effectiveness.

A Certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach, SCORE Mentor, and nationally respected speaker, Dr. Cowels is passionate about equipping leaders, strengthening nonprofits, and helping organizations secure the resources needed to fulfill their mission. Her leadership has earned numerous community service awards and recognition for excellence in nonprofit growth, workforce development, and community engagement.
